At La Font Gran, we opened our doors in October 2024 as a family-run project. We are Jordi (kitchen) and Lorena (front of house), and we share the same idea: to offer approachable, honest cuisine rooted in Catalan tradition.
Our restaurant is a small and welcoming space, with an indoor dining room for 32 guests and an outdoor terrace for 40 people, located at street level with views of the Montserrat mountain.
Our cuisine is based on locally sourced ingredients and on recipes that respect Catalan tradition. We focus on charcoal-grilled meats, tapas and menus designed to adapt to every moment: daily menu, weekend menu and tailor-made group menus.
We are located in Plaça de la Font Gran in Monistrol de Montserrat, a stopping point for hikers and visitors who want to discover the natural surroundings of Montserrat and enjoy a good meal in a calm and authentic atmosphere.

Excellent restaurant in Monistrol de Montserrat. Everything was delicious, especially the Galician-style octopus and the cheesecake. Nandi was incredibly friendly.
Amazing homemade patatas bravas. Spectacular meat and excellent service. The stone wall and baby changing table are a great touch. We’ll definitely be back.
